چکیده

Coral fish are organisms with the largest amount of biomass and also large that can be found in coral reef ecosystems. The tendency is they do not move around always a certain area very relocated although still many (Nybakken, 1988). often on island Lancang Tiger Grouper (Epinepheus fuscoguttatus). have high economic value if fishermen good cultivation this island. method used was mobile controlled hydroacoustics, located Pulu Thousand Islands. instruments SIMRAD EK 15. number samples measured as 3 heads total length ranging from 21,70 cm to 42,50 has weight three 186,9 gr 640 recording time 5 minutes done at Dock Floating Net Cage. sounding results tiger grouper were then analyzed using Echoview 4.0 microsoft excel. analysis showed average TS groupers whose ranged -34,77 dB -32,37 longer fish, greater value.

Histological assessments of intestinal immuno-morphology of tiger grouper juvenile, Epinephelus fuscoguttatus

Histological assessments on the intestinal morphology and immunity of tiger grouper juveniles, Epinephelus fuscoguttatus help in determining the earliest age to start an oral vaccination. This study describes the morphological development of the intestinal immunity of tiger grouper of various ages. Clinically healthy tiger groupers were selected and divided into 4 groups of 20 fish per group. G...

Serum cortisol concentrations change in tiger grouper, Epinephelus fuscoguttatus in response to water temperature and salinity stress

The present exposition was designed to evaluate blood serum changes in tiger grouper, Epinephelus fuscoguttatus in response to changes in water temperature and salinity. Uniformly sized fingerlings were randomly distributed into different groups at fifteen fish per tank, in two replicates. Each group represented experimental fishes subjected to water temperatures of 18, 24, 28 and 30°C (control...

Phenotype and genotype of  lactic acid bacteria (LAB) isolated from the tiger grouper Epinephelus fuscoguttatus alimentary tract

Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) have been isolated successfully from the tiger grouper Epinephelusfuscoguttatus intestine. However, their genus or species have not been identified. Therefore, the objective of the present study was to characterize the three isolated LAB (KSBU-12C, KSBU-5Da, and KSBU-9) based on their phenotype and genotype. The LAB phenotype was examined by observing morphological fe...
